Facilities

When making price comparisons, please note that there are no hidden charges and that all the following facilities are included in the quoted price:

  • Generous welcome pack
  • Bed linen - Fresh weekly
  • Proper baths and showers
  • Fitted kitchen, including full sized electric cooker,
    fridge-freezer and microwave. Dishwasher in Germaine
  • Duvets, pillows and blankets
  • Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases
    (please note that we do not provide cot bedding)
  • All electricity, including heating and hot water
  • Wood for open fires
  • Shared washing machines and tumbledryer
  • Cots, high chairs and stairgates
  • Barbecues, picnic tables, parasols and camping chairs
  • Some childrens' outdoor toys
  • Swings and slide
  • Bicycles (adults and child)
  • Information packs including local maps and brochures
  • Kitchen basics such as washing up liquid,
    "J" cloths, Tea towels

Changeovers:
Subject to availability, we offer either Wednesday or Saturday changeovers, as mid week ferries tend to be cheaper and are often less crowded than weekend crossings.
We ask our guests please to arrive after 4.00pm and, at the end of your stay, to ensure that the cottages are vacated by 10.00am in order to give us sufficient time to prepare for our next guests.
Cleaning:
We do not normally charge for cleaning at the end of your stay; however, we do ask all guests to leave their gites in a clean and tidy condition.
Insurance:
Although we carry all legally required insurances for Breton Cottages, you are strongly advised to take out personal holiday insurance cover. Do, please make sure that you have arranged medical cover whilst in France. This can be obtained from most Post Offices in the UK. and is provided free of charge.
